This bright, spacious beachfront villa offers an open concept plan on the ground floor with a modern, chic vibe. The living room is perfect for relaxing at night if you choose to stay inside instead of lounging outside on the patio by the pool, which offers several comfortable seating areas. The living room has a smart TV that is hooked up with cable and Netflix. There are also board games, cards, and dominos to amuse yourself with…if you want to do something other than decompressing by the sea. There is also a half bathroom on the ground level that is convenient and tastefully decorated.

Turtles' Nest comfortably sleeps 1-6 guests with three bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, ceiling fans, A/C, European cotton sheets, spacious walk-in closets, and blackout curtains for windows. The large ensuite bathrooms all have overhead rain showers with good water pressure and oversized, plush towels.

The bedroom on the ground floor has a king-sized bed and sliding glass doors open to the patio, one lounge area, and the pool. On the other side of the room is an expansive window that looks out to the garden and the small Little Turtles' Cottage that offers a double bed for 1-2 additional guests (inquire if interested).

Upstairs are the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms; the master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a bamboo/oak framed wall, and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds, which is perfect for a group with children. Each of these bedrooms has expansive windows on both sides of the room, which offers lovely views of the sea, pool, and lush Santa Cruz Mountains.

An extra special area to this villa is the large, sun-dappled upper deck overlooking the pool, grounds, and sea. It is between the master bedroom and twin bedroom. The shaded terrace has a bamboo thatched roof, which creates an inviting and relaxing space with its brightly colored, oversized cushions and gentle sea breeze. This area is perfect for times when you want to listen to the sounds of the waves and have excellent views of the Caribbean Sea while being sheltered from the sun.

Turtles' Nest also offers a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and personal chef, Dacia. It supplies all of the amenities to feel at home and prepare your own meals (with your brought in supplies). Or you can opt to have Dacia cook you breakfast and dinner daily with pre-purchased meal supplies, guests refund purchased items to supplied receipts. Dacia is also happy to prepare meals with your brought in supplies; the choice is yours. She can always prepare enough food for dinner where there are leftovers for lunch the following day.

The private saltwater pool and patio areas with hammocks, picnic tables and cushioned, lounge chairs are accessible from the living room, kitchen, and ground floor bedroom. So you can see the pool and skyline from all areas as well as have instant access. The patio areas from the living room and bedroom also have thatch roofs to give you just enough protective dappled sun.

Villa Reviews:

To say our week was magical is an understatement. By the time we left, Dacia, Zeb, Petage, and her mom were like family.

We were hesitant to visit Jamaica, not because of crime or anything like that, but because we are aware that some of the country has been taken over by a type of tourism that keeps tourists from Jamaicans and Jamaicans from their own beaches and land.

To experience an area where that is the opposite is refreshing, and an example for how to keep tourism sustainable and good for the community. I've visited almost 40 countries in my lifetime, and Treasure Beach is indeed a magical place.

As far as the property, it was exactly as described, and stocked with everything we needed. Dacia is an unreal chef, and we had some of the best food of our lives. The house is so lovely, and with so much room.

The Story of Turtles' Nest
(video above provided by Villa Elia)

Treasure Beach is the second largest sea turtle nesting area in Jamaica.

When the villa was built in 2016, the builders made friends with the local dogs. One day one of them gently dropped a baby turtle at their feet and indicated to follow him, there by the beach they found a nest of Hawksbills. The builders helped make sure they made it to the ocean. The following year one of our staff members, Zeb, came into work to find tens of baby turtles swimming around in our pool (luckily it's salt water!) He also made sure they were able to safely walk from the beach into the ocean (so they imprint where they were born).

The nesting season is June to November and the Treasure Beach Turtle Group arranges night tours so you can see them up close! All beachfront properties keep their lights dimmed in this period, so that the turtles head towards the sea and not the road.

Please visit the Natural History Museum in Billy's Bay while you are here. They have lots of information about local wildlife and the turtle conservation project is based here. You can also see dolphins and manatees if you take a boat trip along our stretch of coast. Just ask Zeb and he will organize it for you.
