Found on 1 mile of famed white sand beach, plus clear, calm, coral-reef protected waters. BAHIA is an affordable, romantic, rustic hidwaway cottage for two with a queen-bed under a loft lounge/reading area.

This quaint seaside open concept living area comes with queen size bed, kitchenette, living room, loft with double bed for reading and lounging as well as enclosed patio -- all with designer colors and art work by local craftsmen. This cottage is the perfect island getaway for two or for a larger party occupying adjacent beachfront villa SIESTA as well as BAYWATCH.

BAHIA combined with the other two properties (SIESTA and BAYWATCH) to provide accommodations for up to 28 guests (22 adults, 6 children).

All three properties from doors and shutters open wide to tranquil sea views of the Runaway Bay Beach, allowing the sea breeze in. They are also within 7-10 beach-walking minutes of Jewel Paradise Resort.

BAHIA COTTAGE is a sister property to SIESTA and BAYWATCH and can be rented in combination for larger groups. All three (3) properties can accommodate up to 22 adults, 6 children.

“Bahia cottage was the perfect little beach cottage getaway for my husband as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Very cozy, within a beautiful garden setting and right on the beach. It’s the rainy season so the open patio facing the water was the perfect place to lounge whenever we had to remain indoors because of the weather. The listing pictures do not do the cottage justice as it’s been renovated since and is decorated in a very stylish modern open design. Although fairly small, the kitchen area was well equipped for us to prepare our meals and there are a number of restaurants in the vicinity at which to eat out. Alternatively, the housekeepers/cooks are on hand to prepare meals if you so desire. Nicole, our host, the owner and the daytime staff were all very helpful, pleasant and accommodating and between 6pm-6am the nighttime security guard ensured we slept peacefully. We definitely will be back!”

The staff is awesome and I don't like to use the word staff because they quickly became our friends. We have stayed in the fancy hotels with the fine dinning and nothing beats good home cooking, and Cheryl is the best! We truly mess everyone and definately will be back!! If you are looking for a quiet beautiful place forget the tourist traps and stay here!!!”

“Wonderful cottage, exactly as shown in photos, with a lovely private beach and beautiful, well cared for garden. We went snorkeling on the reef just off the beach, using snorkeling equipment from Dale. Neighborhood felt very safe, with grocery stores nearby and a security guard on property at night. A/C, wi-fi and TV were great conveniences. Staff were wonderful, with delicious meals prepared by Sheryl and her staff. They were all very kind and went beyond expectation with an event where we hosted local friends for lunch - all raved re: the food and the setting. Very accessible from both MoBay and Kingston, especially with new freeway (T3 toll road). Very quick response to our questions, and very accommodating to our schedule in terms of checking in and out. Runaway Bay does not have many amenities so not a place for night life or flashy restaurants but it's perfect for peace, swimming, sunning and lazing. "Bahia House is a sweet little house surrounded by a beautiful garden of tropical flowers and many hummingbirds, great to watch. You open the back door to the view of the ocean which is turqoise in color and cristal clear.It really is a magical place.we spent a lazy week with the kids making sand castles.The two houses on either sides have pools and we were lucky enough to be invited to use them by the guests there.The staff were great,we actually chose not to use them for most of the time just wanted our privacy which they understood,although the meals we did have cooked by them were delicious. We had a great time, highly recommend it."
