Kai Kala Villa is a spectacular private, waterfront estate in the Prospect area of Ocho Rios. It has 4 unique villas providing 10-bedrooms set on 2.5 acres of lush fruit trees and flowers, located on a dramatic cliff overlooking the sea. It is the perfect choice for large groups and reunions as it can comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests with 10-bedrooms in total. 

There are several ways to rent this fantastic property -- there is the 4-bedroom main house, Kai Kala Villa, looking onto the Caribbean Sea. The other villas include the 1-bedroom, Hideaway Cottage, perched on the cliff's edge; the 2-bedroom Bamboo Cottage, set within the gardens; and the 3-bedroom Sea View Cottage, also set within the gardens and offering views of the sea through the trees. All 10 of the villa's bedrooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, flat-screen cable TVs, and digital safes.

This property is conveniently located only a 5-minute drive from the center of Ocho Rios for its activities, shopping, nightlife, and sports.

With its large, saltwater pool, two spas, abundant outdoor areas, and inviting seaside deck, the property is perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, destination weddings (seating 30 guests)—or even for a small group of friends seeking an extraordinary getaway. The individual houses are not rented separately.

KAI KALA VILLA Main House/4 Bedrooms, 1-8 guests: All four of the bedrooms are air-conditioned and feature ceiling fans, phones, cable flat screen TV's, safes and spa like bathrooms.

Entering Kai Kala Villa, you cross over a Perspex bridge with a stream and waterfall filled with golden koi and surrounded by vegetation. The wooden staircase splits into two levels. Upstairs there are 3 of the 4 bedrooms, living room, dining room, bar, veranda, and pool area beyond.

The saltwater pool has blue mosaic tiles and a hot tub with jets. The expansive veranda has a wrought iron table with outdoor seating for 10 guests. The bar opens onto the living room and veranda with original sitting; 4 hands carved of wood. It has an ice machine, bottled water dispenser, coffee maker, blender, refrigerator, and a wine storage unit.

The living room has a flat-screen TV with cable, a DVD player, WiFi, and Pictionary, Dominoes, and Backgammon games for your entertainment.

Adjoining the living room is the dining room, which has indoor seating for 8 guests and overlooks the water feature cascading outside the row of windows. This leads into the fully equipped kitchen with a 4-burner gas stove, toaster oven, toaster, microwave, and refrigerator.

Master Bedroom: king-sized bed and a private patio overlooking the pool and the sea. The plush bathroom features a Kohler whirlpool tub enclosed with wooden louvers and glass on three sides. His and her closets, stone basins with double mirrors, a separately enclosed toilet add to the sense of complete luxury. A large, pebble-tiled shower with glass walls opens onto the patio. The shower features a rain shower head, and a hand-held shower head with three massaging jets. Lush tropical plantings provide an exotic and fragrant natural component.

Bedroom 2: king-sized bed overlooking the gardens, pool and sea. The large, private bathroom has a tub and shower.

Bedroom 3: two queen-sized beds and features a small private patio and windows that overlook the pool, sea and garden. The bathroom features a stone basin and countertop a with tub and shower.

Bedroom 4 (downstairs): opens from both the living room and onto the veranda through French doors. It has king-sized bed and sitting area. Windows overlook both the pool, the gardens, and out to sea. The bathroom, which is not en-suite, has a stone countertop and basin with a large, tiled shower with seat.

SEA VIEW COTTAGE - 3 Bedrooms, 1-6 guests: All 3-bedrooms are air-conditioned with ceiling fans, telephones, flat-screen cable TV’s, luxurious bathrooms, and digital safes.

This cottage is steps up from the main house. A wooden deck, which overlooks the Caribbean Sea, offers an outdoor dining area for al fresco feasts, and a jetted hot tub to spend tranquil and deeply relaxing moments in. The comfortable living and dining area seats six and has a ceiling fan, a large, flat-screen TV with cable and a telephone. A uniquely lit ceiling lights your way to the two smaller bedrooms, which are original to the property.

Bedroom 1: Master bedroom has a king-sized bed and French doors that open onto the wooden deck, overlooking the hot tub. The large bathroom with a tub, shower, and window looking out to sea.

Bedroom 2: Double bed and a lovely, cushioned bay window overlooking the sea and gardens. The en-suite bathroom has a tiled shower and tub.

Bedroom 3: Double bed with views of the garden. The en-suite bathroom has a mosaic tiled shower and tub.

BAMBOO COTTAGE - 2 Bedrooms, 1-4 guests: Both bedrooms are air-conditioned with ceiling fans, telephones, flat-screen TV’s, luxurious bathrooms and digital safes.

Located in lush bamboo gardens, this two bedroom Cottage is accessed from the pebble line entryway. It offers a comfortable living/dining room which is decorated with bamboo furniture. The living area has a flat screen cable TV and expansive windows that provide stunning views of the gardens. The Cottage has a small, indoor dining area. 

Bedroom 1: King sized four poster bamboo bed and great views of the lush gardens. An en-suite bathroom has a tub and shower. 

Bedroom 2: Twin bamboo beds and windows overlooking a garden complete with stone walls. The bathroom has a tub and shower and garden views.

HIDEAWAY COTTAGE - 1 Bedroom, 1-2 guests: A luxurious and romantic Hideaway Cottage sits perched on the hillside overlooking the sea and just steps down from Kai Kala Villa.

The living room is nicely furnished with a sofa and chairs. Elegant French doors lead onto a very private wooden deck looking out towards the ocean and a jetted hot tub. There is a small kitchen with a mini-fridge and a cozy table for two for indoor dining.

Bedroom 1 - Lovely master bedroom with a king bed and views to the sea. French doors open onto the split-level wooden deck. A pebble-tiled indoor bathroom has a bathtub and shower with plugs for an electric shaver or hairdryer. A door from the bathroom opens into a grilled, cut-stone, outdoor shower.

The villa requires a one week full house booking for all events and ONLY includes guests saying at the property. Maximum of 20 guests.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• A deposit in the amount of 50% of cottage rental will Secure your RE-confirmed reservation.

• Balance is due at least 60 days prior to arrival, 75 days for Christmas or New Year's Weeks.

• Non-deposited Damage Deposit of US$1,000 is due with balance in separate check: after departure if no damage or outstanding bills left, damage deposit will be returned.
